She is an alumni of the Royal Court Young Writers’ Programme and was a Jerwood/Arvon mentee 2015-16. Her plays include The Marriage of Lady Mede (Ledbury Poetry Festival and Shoreditch Town Hall, 2017) part of the five-hour retelling of the medieval poem Piers Plowman; Gala Mae, produced by Matchstick Theatre and performed at the launch of Bare Lit 2018 (The Albany) and longlisted for the 2016 Alfred Fagon Award; Epiphany (Horse & Stables, 2017); The Other Half (The Feminist Library, 2015) and Little Baby Nothing (Theatre503, 2013).

Annette has worked with Matchstick on two of her plays Cold Blow Lane (2018) and Gala Mae (2019) as well as being a part of the literary team with Matchstick.

Tomas has overseen everything video related that Matchstick does, he’s a core part of the team and has made trailers for nearly all the theatre shows and many other events. He’s worked with the BBC, ITV 1, 2, Channel 4, E4 and is now an established freelancer.

A popular, well loved artist and member of the team at Matchstick. He also composes the horn sections for House Gospel Choir, and runs the groups Saxsmith and Biscuit Horns.

Lewis is from South London and graduated from BRIT school and the Guildhall.
