MINCE returns with another night to share and experience new / work in progress stuff that can happen LIVE.
Come see experimental film, music, performance, sound, writing and more at it's very first public airing! Prioritising work by queers, it's also an opportunity for people to test out ideas in their infancy and get feedback while still working on things. A vibey, supportive, fun night to see some new art at the brilliant Piehouse.

MINCE #3 will include work by:
@faw3iyah - playing some guitar tunes
@thatmattymay - performance lip synch
Dana Browett - giving us a reading
@lukejacks0n - playing some songs
@gerrrrrrtwerrrrrr - performance with biscuits
@heather_glazzard - showing paintings

French born, Palestinian raised. She grew up listening to a lot of Arabic traditional songs and soul music. She tends to mix both genres in her songs choices and lyrics, taking influences from artists such as Fairouz, Yebba and icons of chansons francaises. Join her in her very first show in London accompanied by amazing very talented musicians! I'm so excited to invite you into her universe.⁠ ⁠ Just when you thought every Genre mash-up had been done, Ivor Novello Rising Star Nominee Ashaine White arrives with a brand new hybrid: grunge-soul. Inspired by the likes of Ella Fitzergerald, Lianne La Havas, D'Angelo, Radiohead and Nirvana, Ashaine's moody, spellbinding approach to jazz harmony and melodies with storytelling at the focus of her songwriting form a unique and exciting soundscape. Putting you right in the middle of her world.⁠ ⁠ Josh has tailored a close bedroom-pop sound inviting his audiences to personify his writings with their own stories. His sonic goal is to sooth silent wounds and allow anxieties to trickle away through jazz inspired chord progressions and lullaby melodies.
