Crayola’s Madhouse

Crayola’s Madhouse is your monthly Molotov cocktail of quality queer cabaret and new performer showcase right in the heart of Depford/New Cross. With curated headliners, the freshest talent the scene has to offer, and hosted by the crazy-cute Crayola herself, you won’t want to miss out on any of the madness, mischief and mayhem that’s sure to ensue.

Oh, and let’s not forget – audience participation! An essential part of the show is our own little pageant – I introduce to you, Miss Madhouse! A runway moment flavoured by the month’s theme. A self-decoration station will be on hand for you to beautify before you strut, with suitably dumb prizes for the winner and the title of Miss Madhouse for the whole month!

Want to perform at Crayola’s Madhouse? Get in touch at [email protected]! But be warned – our slots for new performers are not like your mama’s Open Mic! As part of our initiative to develop new talent, we offer optional rehearsal time and an outside eye to help you with your act beforehand, pictures and video of you slaying the stage on the night, and optional feedback afterwards. All in the name of helping you be the best you can be and giving you a leg up on your journey in the cabaret world!

About Crayola:

Up-and-always-coming, Crayola is THE Queen of Colour *rainbow emoji* and London’s America’s Sweetheart. Hot off of Not Another Drag Competition Season 5, a regular fixture at KlubKids UK’s London shows and a host at Dalston’s The Karaoke Hole, this Queen has been having a ball serving her unique brand of campy, cartoonish craziness to you kiddos. A lipsync assassin, a pro on the mic, and a turner of looks, she always leaves you gagging for more. She couldn’t be more proud to be giving birth to a show she can finally call her own: Crayola’s Madhouse.

Keep up with the cray @CrayolaTheQueen on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
